These policies ensure the safety, structure, and well-being of our riders, animals, staff, and facility. All riders, parents, guardians, and guests are required to read and follow the rules below.

• All visitors must check in with staff upon arrival.
• Children must be supervised at ALL times.
• No entering pens, stalls, arenas, or restricted areas without permission.
• No feeding or petting animals unless you are in a scheduled program.
• Gates must remain closed at all times.
• No running, yelling, roughhousing, or chasing animals.
• Dogs and outside pets are not allowed unless pre-approved.
• Respect all horses, staff, property, and other guests.
   

• Follow instructor directions immediately.
• Never run or make sudden movements near horses.
• Never walk behind a horse.
• Riders may only mount or dismount with staff assistance.
• Do not touch tack, equipment, or horses without permission.
• Report any unsafe behavior or damaged equipment to staff immediately.

Failure to follow safety rules may result in immediate removal with no refund.

Required:

• Closed-toe shoes (boots recommended)
• Long pants (jeans or riding tights)
• ASTM/SEI certified helmet (provided if needed)
• Hair pulled back securely

Not Allowed:

• Sandals, crocs, or open-toed shoes
• Shorts, dresses, or skirts
• Long scarves, loose clothing, or dangling jewelry
   

Anyone not meeting dress code standards will not ride and no refund will be issued.

We maintain a safe, respectful, family-friendly environment.

Unacceptable behaviors include:

• Disrespect toward staff or other guests
• Hitting, teasing, pushing, or scaring animals
• Climbing fences or equipment
• Aggressive or dangerous actions
• Disruptive children not supervised by adults
• Intoxication or disorderly conduct
   

Any violation may result in removal without refund.

• Deposits and payments are non-refundable
• Canceling within 14 days of an event → no reschedule or credit
   

• Credit or reschedule for events (no refunds)
   

Horse House may refuse service for any reason including:

• Unsafe behavior
• Dress code violations
• Lack of supervision of children
• Intoxication or disorderly conduct
• Harassment or disrespect
• Unsafe conditions for animals or staff
• Health concerns or rider limitations that compromise safety
   

No refunds will be issued when service is refused due to client actions.

All payments, deposits, lessons, memberships, events, and services are non-refundable.
Credits may be offered at Horse House’s discretion under approved conditions.

WARNING
Under Texas Law (Chapter 87, Civil Practice and Remedies Code):
A farm animal professional is not liable for injury or death resulting from the inherent risks of farm animal activities.

By entering the property or participating in any activity, all individuals acknowledge the risks associated with horses and farm animals.

A signed waiver is required for all riders and participants.

By participating in any activity, entering the property, booking an event, or enrolling in lessons, all clients acknowledge that they:

• Have read and understand all Horse House policies
• Agree to follow all safety rules
• Accept the inherent risks of equine activities
• Accept the no-refund policies
• Agree to all membership or punch-card terms (when applicable)
• Understand Horse House may enforce rules for safety at any time
