Mike Cason, Who you may know as the owner, operator, and Dentist with 4M Equine Dentistry, is not only highly educated in equine dental and anatomy. He also has a life time of experience with horse. Mike is originally from Abilene, Texas but was a high school graduate at our own Flour Bluff, HS class of 2009, soon he joined the United States Army. After many adventures he made a choice to retire those combat boots for a pair of cowboy boots. Mike has traveled all over this country side working with many Ranch Outfits as a working cowboy and trainer. Everything from moving cattle, doctoring the heard, breaking colts, he has been there done that. His passion for horses has never waivered and lead him to Equine Dentistry, and is current working toward other Equine Medical Degrees. His training goals are simple... Practical Partnership with a Good Working Mind and Working Feet, and the rest will be easy.
Michael has spent my formative year working horses at my family’s ranch/ rehab facility in Wyoming. I found myself as a young adult wanting to pursue my life passion as my career. I had a great opportunity to work and trained with Ken McNabb (one of the country’s top horse trainers) and my mentor. I attended and graduated all his programs in apprenticeship, journeymen, and master’s horsemanship clinics. I graduated January of 2020 with my Masters certificate under Ken McNabb. I currently work with several facilities in Texas and around the US. I specialize in getting horses more fine-tuned and general performance horse training. I do coach riding lessons, Colt starting, problem horse fixing and just getting horses more broke. Faith, family, and horses are my top priorities in my business, and I try very hard to bring my ethics to my clients.
Alaya is a lifetime committed horsewoman with 10 years of professional experience. With a passion for horses and teaching, Alaya decided to follow her dreams by getting a Dual Track Equestrian Studies degree at Wilson College in Pennsylvania. That degree consists of teaching and training of horses, teaching lessons to all age riders, as well as, facility management. During her four years of college, Alaya rode on the IHSA team, interned with an upper-level Dressage trainer, Megan Mendenhall. She has also ridden and learn from Grand Prix Dressage riders and horses. Once graduating with her degree, Alaya went off to Connecticut to groom for an “A” rated elite hunter, jumper, and equestrian facility, Larimar Show Stables. Larimar’s team taught Alaya many lessons on teaching, training, management, hard work and how much teamwork/dedication are needed to run a successful facility. From there she became a barn manager at Watermark Farm and a night’s foals watch for Iron Spring Farm. She strives to learn and take any opportunity to gain her knowledge of the equestrian industry by training multiple horses and continues to build her confidence as a teacher, trainer, and manager. She recently moved to Texas with her husband, Christopher, a-year-old son, Aiden, and two dogs, Chip and Oakley. She is saving up to buy her new training prospect and so excited to continue to help others find their love and passion for horses.
Khea's love for horses began when she was a young girl. She has been riding since grade school. As she became a young adult she knew she wanted to share her passion and love for horses with others. Khea began giving riding lessons in 2007. She loves helping people gain confidence and skill with horses of all levels. Her expertise is in western equitation from beginner-advanced riders.
